A gift receipt is different from an original purchase receipt: the policy describes gift-receipt returns within 60 days as eligible for merchandise credit, subject to product conditions. If you are buying a gift, keep the gift receipt and check whether the recipient will have a practical way to complete an exchange.

Final-sale products and damaged deliveries

Not every item can be returned even during the first 30 days. Sport Chek excludes designated final-sale clearance items, certain hygiene-related products, opened electronics, tickets and specified other categories. Consult the item-specific restrictions before opening an electronics box or removing hygiene seals.

For a delivery that arrives damaged or contains the wrong product, Sport Chek instructs shoppers to contact its online customer service immediately and before shipping the item back, so return-shipping arrangements can be addressed. You bought trainers online and need a half-size up. Check the product’s condition and deadline first, then compare returning to a store for an exchange with returning the item and placing a separate online order. Sport Chek’s published process does not promise an online-to-online exchange.

You misplaced the printed receipt after purchasing a jacket. Search for the emailed receipt or order record; ask the store whether it can retrieve the transaction. If no verifiable receipt is available, the published policy says the store cannot process the ordinary return.
