What We Cover
Our guides examine return and exchange policies for retailers serving Canada; refund and delivery procedures for online purchases; subscription and membership cancellations; and the terms of travel bookings, tickets and consumer services. Where relevant, we explain differences between a company’s voluntary policy and applicable consumer protections.
How We Research
We aim to consult official Canadian company policies, customer support resources, subscription terms, and government or regulatory information suited to the topic. An American or international policy is not automatically the policy for Canadian customers. Provincial differences are identified when they affect the question being discussed.
Important terms, eligibility requirements, exceptions, fees, contact routes and verification dates may be included when supported by sources. Where reliable information is unavailable, we aim to say so rather than guess.
