Quick answer: SHEIN Canada’s published policy generally allows returns for eligible items in new condition within 30 days of receipt. However, it excludes multiple merchandise categories, and the return shipping cost can change if you make a second return request for the same order. The clearest starting point is the official SHEIN Canada return policy, followed by the return tools inside your own order.
The first return and a second return are not priced the same
SHEIN’s Canadian policy says the first return of eligible items from an order using its specified supported drop-off methods is normally free, subject to its Fair Use Policy. A second or subsequent return request from that same order carries a CAD $6.99 shipping fee deducted from the refund. A self-arranged shipment follows different terms: you pay the carrier yourself and ordinary self-return shipping is not reimbursed. The return methods actually offered can vary by item, so use the methods displayed during your request rather than assuming every carrier or QR-code option is available.
If you already know that two qualifying pieces from the same order do not fit, consider whether they can be included together in the retailer’s order-level return flow. This is not a promise that different orders can always be combined: SHEIN’s policy allows combined requests only when the items meet its conditions for a shared label. Keep each generated label associated with its permitted contents.
Start from My Orders, not the sender address
Sign in, choose My Orders, open the purchase and select the Return option for the relevant item or items. Choose a reason, confirm the item-selection screen, and choose an offered return and refund method. SHEIN provides a label or QR code where the chosen channel supports one. The same Canadian policy page explains where to retrieve or modify a return request in the Returns / Return & Refund Record area.
Do not post your return to the sender address on the original parcel: SHEIN expressly distinguishes that address from its authorized return destination. If you re-use the delivery box, cover previous delivery labels and apply the newly issued return instructions. Keep the carrier receipt and parcel tracking until the item is assessed.
Which items should you check before opening?
SHEIN lists exclusions for multiple categories, including certain underwear, bodysuits, lingerie, jewellery, beauty and other designated non-returnable items; cosmetics with broken seals are restricted. Some electronics require their original sealed and non-activated condition, with all accessories included and personal information removed. A clothing return and a mobile-phone return therefore should not be prepared using one blanket rule.
Hypothetical example: You received two dresses and a sealed cosmetic item. If both dresses meet the new-condition requirements and are eligible, adding them to one authorized first-return request may avoid making a separate later return from the same order. Do not assume the cosmetic item qualifies merely because its parcel was delivered within 30 days: confirm its exact category and seal status first.
Refund choice, rejected returns and customer support
During the request, SHEIN may present a refund choice such as the original payment method or a SHEIN Wallet balance. The official Canadian policy describes inspection after receipt and possible rejection where a returned product fails eligibility checks. The return is not necessarily approved simply because a label was created or the carrier accepted the parcel. Inspect the available refund method before submitting the request, and keep the original order information if you need to ask about a pending credit.
For a damaged, incorrect or incomplete order, use the order-specific return/refund and Customer Service directions on SHEIN Canada rather than claiming the item was merely unwanted. The Canadian policy gives a separate process for faulty or damaged items. No particular personal refund result can be guaranteed by this guide.
